APM's 18U Black team had a strong showing this weekend at the Adversity Open
on Sunday. They had fun, worked hard and were crowned Tournament Champions. Also in the tournament was our 16U Black team who took third. Congrats to all the girls!

Megan Knapp has commited to play at Arizona Western next season. Megan has been with APM for three seasons and is currently a member of the 18U Black team. As a middle, with APM and Lane Tech, she has earned numerous accolades throughout her career. We are proud, honored, and thankful of Megan for all her hard work and dedication. Feel free to congratulate her when you see her next. We are so proud of you Megan!

18U Black Take 2nd at Sunsetters
18U Black had another strong showing this past weekend at the Sunsetter Volleyball Center. They took first in their pool and stormed through semis with hard work and determination. By the end of the day, they had taken a respectable 2nd place finish. Great job girls!

Well at Sky High
The 18s had a strong showing this Sunday at Sky High. Early in the day they struggled but pulled together and fought to take a well deserved Third Place Finish. Nice work ladies!

16 Black is on Fire
With a point to prove, the 16s take Energy by storm. Their desire for success make for an exciting team to watch and is why they were the Tournament Champions at Energy this past weekend. Great job ladies!!!
17U Gold is on Track
APM's 17U Gold performs unlike they have before. They had a unified mission to play as one and never give up. Taking a Second Place finish at Illinois Heat, they show they can meet their goals. Awesome job girls!
14U-1 Gold Take Second at Illinois Heat
Again the 14U-1 show that they can play. Determined to add to their own success they heat it up with a Second Place finish at Illinois Heat. Congatulations ladies!
18s Take Third at Energy
Under the helm of Coach Joe, the 18s adopt well to the change placing Third at Energy. The 18s came out to show that they are a team that performs well under pressure. Fighting every point as one, we can see this team solidify. Keep it up ladies!
15s Take Third in Sunsetters
APM's 15U-2 Black Team prooves again that their defense is successful. They fought hard, performing well this past weekend to take a Third in the Sunsetters Tournament. Nice work girls!

Another Strong Opening Weekend for APM
14U-1 Gold come out strong in their opening tournament this past Sunday. Lead by Coach Chris, the girls served strong and moved well resulting in a first place finish in
pool play and an overall Second Place Finish in the finals.15U Gold also came out to show they had talent too. After a slow start the 15U Gold team rallied to take second place in their poo and Third Place finish overall. Congratulations to all the APM teams for another exciting start to the season!

16s Dominate in Asics Mikasa
Under the leadership of our APM Director Denise Beaudoin, the 16U Black dominate their opponents. Never underestimating their opponents, they fought as one and battled strong to earn the title of Champions! This team has some great things to come. Great work girls and keep it up!
18s Prove Strong in First Tournament
18U Black came out to fight and prove they have the talent to be successful. Taking first in their pool the 18s keep their momentum alive through the Championship match where they lost by a slim margin taking 2nd
in the Asics Mikasa Tournament. Awesome job ladies!
15s Are Two Teams Worth Watching at Energy
Going into a 24 team tournament dominated by 16U teams both 15s prove that they have fight and talent. 15U-2 Black came out strong demonstrating that defense wins games. Led by Scott Brown they took 2nd in their pool and seeded 8th overall. 15U-1 Black fought through adversity after being the only 15s team in their pool. This is a team not to be underestimated. They dominated their pool taking 1st and were 6th seed overall. After steam-rolling their opponents in the next 2 playoff matches, they lost a close exciting playoff match 25-18, 23-25, 14-16 and took 3rd Place. They fought every match, every point and by the end of the day everyone was talking about these two teams. Great job ladies!!!
New Addition to Coaching Staff: James Lee
We are happy to announce a new addition to the APM family, James Lee. James has been active in the volleyball community for a number of years.
He is a youth minister and JV Assistant Coach at Regina Dominican High School. James will act as the Head Coach for the 14U-2 Gold Team. Welcome to the family James!

16 Black Perform Strong in Netforce Tournament
Sunday APM 16 Black opened their season with a promising showing of talent despite not having a full roster. They placed second in their pool but lost a close match in the semi's. Coach Joe was happy with his teams performance and was excited about his teams potential this season. Nice work ladies and keep up the fight.

There is no practice Monday night 12/14. This was a misprint on the web-based schedule which has been corrected. Please refer to the downloadable schedule as well.

The 15U Black teams will be divided at the end of practice Monday 12/14. At this time we feel that we have had enough time to evaluate each player and place them on a team that is in their best interest. Rosters and tournament schedules wil be posted by Tuesday 12/15. Official practices start this week. Please refer to your practice schedules located on your team page for days, times, and location. Players that owe paperwork please turn in by your first practice. USAV regulations prohibit players from participating in practices/tournaments without completion of paperwork. Any questions or conflicts please contact your head coach or Denise. Mayor Daley Volleyball Tournament:
This is a two day event. The dates for the tournament are Sunday 12/27 and Monday 12/28. We would like to enter as many of our travel teams as we can into the Mayor Daley Sportsfest Volleyball Tournament. Coaches will be asking players if they will be able to attend this week at practices. Please let your coach know if you can attend one or both dates. Any questions contact your coach or Denise.

We invite all APM members, family, and friends to join the staff and other players to watch #5 ranked U of I take on Northwestern Wednesday 11/25/09 at Northwestern. Game time is 7 pm. Attendees are encouraged to meet between 6:15-6:30. Cost for the event will be less than $7 and we are currently working on getting a group discount with 15 or more its $2. Please checkout the facebook invite. In order to get an accurate count we ask you RSVP via facebook or Denise.
