Bio:
Denise has spent the last 17 years coaching all age levels of volleyball. She has coached with the Evanston New Rebels, Deep Six VBC, Adversity and Ace Point Match VBC.
As a player, she was a top-ranked setter in the state for her high school team that made three trips to the Iowa State tournament. Denise has actively played volleyball since moving to Chicago with USAV women’s teams and various co-ed leagues (indoor and sand). She became involved in the club volleyball system here in Chicago when her daughter Shana started to play club and for ETHS. Those experiences have been instrumental in helping to build APM. Her experience as a player, club parent and coach gives her the knowledge needed to create a club environment conducive to a high level of competitive play, attracting the best coaches in the area, and fosters a player’s passion for the game of volleyball.
“The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.”
