Ace Point Match VBC Girls 10-18U 2011-2012 Try-Out Information
Players trying out for a position on one of the Ace Point Match VBC teams will be evaluated and selected based upon the compilation of different criteria ranging from past club experience, school team experience, good team player attitude and physical ability. Girls with no previous volleyball experience are welcome!

10/1/11 Saturday 10am-12pm & 10/2/11 Sunday 4:30pm-6pm
Ages 10 – 12
10/1/11 Saturday 1pm-3pm & 10/2/11 Sunday 4:30pm-6pm
Ages 13-14
10/23/11 Sunday 3pm-6pm & 10/25/11 Tuesday 7:30pm-9:30pm
Ages 15-16
10/30/11 Sunday 3pm-6pm (Oakton Community College) & 11/1/11 Tuesday 7:30pm-9:30p (Leaning Tower YMCA)
Ages 17-18
15-16 Years Old may use 10/30 & 11/1 as a make-up try-out if their HS season is not completed by the try-out dates for their age group.

All players must arrive ½ hour prior to try-out time for check-in.

There is a $30 try-out fee, cash or checks made payable to Ace Point Match VBC

It is required that players attend both try-out dates for their age group. If they cannot, please contact Denise Beaudoin at acepointmatchvbc@yahoo.com or call 847-212-2617.
Players must try-out with their own age group. We anticipate that some athletes may play with older age groups, but this will be decided after try-outs are completed. All players must try-out with their respective age level.
Age brackets are determined by the USAV age definitions listed below:
Age Definitions
12 & Under: Born on or after 9/1/99
13 & Under: Born on or after 9/1/98
14 & Under: Born on or after 9/1/97
15 & Under: Born on or after 9/1/96
16 & Under: Born on or after 9/1/95
17 & Under: Born on or after 9/1/94
18 & Under: Born on or after 9/1/93

Step Two: Notice to ALL Junior Players and their Parents/Guardians:
In order to attend a tryout for ANY USAV Great Lakes Region Junior Club that takes place prior to November 1st, Junior athletes must be registered with the USAV Great Lakes Region for the 2012 season (a limited tryout membership or a full membership will be available) OR show proof of registration from the previous season.

Previously registered athletes are ENCOURAGED to print out their membership card from the 2011 season to take with them to ANY tryout they wish to go to in order to show proof of membership. The link to print the membership card can be found among the left hand choices on the screen when in your USAV Webpoint account.
Athletes attending TRYOUTS taking place AFTER November 1st MUST show proof of registration for the 2012 season. NO EXCEPTIONS!
