Congratulations to the 14U Black team! It was a great weekend for these ladies finishing FIRST PLACE at the 1/8/12 Circus Series Tournament. Their undefeated 10-0 record put them on top of 11 other teams earning them their first victory cake of the season! Keep of the great work ladies!

17-18U Tryouts are coming up on 10/30 Sunday from 3-6pm at Oakton Community College. PLEASE NOTE: The second tryout date of 11/1 Tuesday from 7:30-9:30pm is being held at the Leaning Tower YMCA at 6300 W. Touhy Avenue in Niles. Don't forget to register for tryouts. If you have not completed your high school season by the tryout dates, please register and let us know. We ask that you come on Sunday to check in but no physical tryout can occur while you are still playing with your high school team. Instructions are on the APM Tryout page. Look forward to seeing you on 10/30.

We will be offering private volleyball lessons on a first-come basis for non-high school students on the following dates:

Location: Leaning Tower YMCA, 6300 W. Touhy, Niles
Lessons will last 50-60 minutes. We have plenty of coaches and slots open per hour available!

Due to popular demand, we have added two additional open gym dates! Join us on 7/19 Tuesday and 7/21 Thursday from 7-9pm at Leaning Tower YMCA, 6300 W. Touhy in Niles. Join APM coaches for some summer volleyball action at the upcoming Open Gym Dates: 7/6, 7/7, 7/11 and 7/13. Play from 7-9pm at the Leaning Tower YMCA, 6300 W. Touhy in Niles. Season is Winding Down
APM has seen a lot of success this season from all its teams and hopes to continue the success in the future. The 13U and 14U gold teams concluded their season this past weekend. Great job to both teams as your season comes to an end. We are proud of all your great accomplishments.
The 15U Rizzo, 15U Sebastian, 16U Bobby, and 17U Black conclude their seasons this weekend. The 16U Black team will extend their season another month as they compete for the Asics National Championships at Navy Pier in June. We wish all our teams the best of luck as their seasons wind down.

Congratulations to 16U Black
This past weekend the 16U and 17U Black teams all played well inthe Mideast Qualifier. 17U finished in the Silver bracket and 16U Bobby took first in Platinum. The 16U Black team finished in the Gold bracket marking the first time in APM history for a team to make it into the Gold Division. Great job to all teams, coaches, and parents!

Both the 13U Gold and 14U Gold had their first tournaments this past weekend. The 13U Gold are off to a strong start fininshing second in the Asics Mikasa Tournament. The 14U Gold placed second in the Silver bracket at the Diamond Elite Tournament. Great work ladies!!!

Windy City Power League is a Success!
Congrats to all of our teams competing in the Windy City Power League this past weekend. APM had a strong and promising start for seeding
in the league. The results will be posted soon so be sure to check back. Nice work to all the girls from the 15s to the 18s.
16U-Black Goes Undefeated in WCPL
16U- Black went undefeated in the seeding weekend for the Windy City Power League. 16U-Black won 6 matches this weekend to bring there winning streak to 10 and improve the record on the season to 11-2. The team played great in all aspects of the game and look to continue their winning streak on Sunday 1/23 where they will play the first of 5 Windy City Power League events. Congratulations and Keep up the good work!!!
16U - Bobby Find Success at WCPL
16U - Bobby (aka Thunderstorm) had a great performance this past weekend. Qualifiying for the Gold Division was a
great achievement and the WCPL has allowed this team to find its unity. We are very excited to see what this team has in store for us. Great job ladies!

2011 marks a new year and a new power league for USAV volleyball. APM is excited to take part in the new power league developed by the Great Lakes Region. Or, you can call Denise Beaudoin at 847-212-2617 with your payment information. A check is acceptable if received by 11/10/10.
